Well the Army is dragging feet on paperwork...surprise surprise. It's looking like instead of shipping out in Late Sept./Early Oct. I will have to postpone. Bastards! |

Well I might revive this LJ and then again I might now, despite having a brief respite from the military life has not slowed down much. Just an overview for the people I haven't talked to in a while:
1. I went to Fort Benning and, aside from alot of other BS ended up injuring my back some how....no....I don't know when I did it! I ended up ingnoring it hoping they would ship me until, finally, I couldn't anymore. So I went on Sick Call and about 2 days after that they shipped out my line to Fort Sills, Ok! So I got a State Recall (one of the reasons I went Guard instead of Regular Army, you have a bit more leverage when dealing with the military) and am now attempting to get my back straightened out.
2. If I get my back fixed I will hopefully be shipping to Fort Jackson, Miss. in September to goto boot camp. Then I will be back for a short holiday (10 or so days).
3. I will likely attend AIT (if things go right)for Medic sometime in January.
Well, that's what's happening with me....what's up with you guys? |

Won't be able to make it to Gaming Saturday, I've had some stuff come up. Looking at my schedule I'm not sure how much I'll be able to make it so I'm considering bowing out all together until my time settles down a bit. |

This year I've been busy!
In March on a flight to Colorado Springs, I stole the emergency flight information card (-40 points). Last Friday I gave change to a homeless guy (19 points). Last Sunday I committed genocide... Sorry about that, ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) blackrosebrp (-5000 points). In January I bought porn for brokennaivety (-10 points). In November I helped interdictor see the light (8 points).
Overall, I've been naughty (-5023 points). For Christmas I deserve a lump of coal!

This person is supposedly in Loiusiana (sp?) right now and posting...I don't know how he's getting his net to run but phones have been spotty (not gone though) and he does mention a generator. It's amazing what people are doing in the middle of all this! |

1) Exactly which countries have you been a missionary to?
Spain, Parts of Northern Africa (can't remember what countries they were, they've probably changed names a couple of times since I was there), Belize, Mexico, Argentina....I honestly can't remember them all but I know there've been more.
2) Why do you want to join the military? What do you hope to achieve?
I've been drawn to the military my whole life. I'm hoping to get the training I need to get a job with someone like Triple Canopy, Black Water or possibly L-3 Communications (my family has recently made some contacts with folks in that company).
3) What's with the continuous dumbass choices in haircuts?
I've gone through a short hair phaze recently but I've decided to grow my hair out again, it'll probably never be as long as it was before I went to belize though.
4) What's with the continuous bad taste in women? Do you think that you will forever be Sleepy's wingman?
Dunno, I can't say that I've thought about it much. I don't know how much of a "wingman" I'll be now that sleepy seems to have contracted GF Disease.
5) Truthfully,(a) you've never fired a gun,(b) got into a real fight,(c) or ever killed anything, so it's really all overblown bravado in some sad attempt to keep people from kicking your ass, isn't it?
Is this actually a question or are you trying to validate an opinion of me? Doesn't matter:
(a)Not at all, I have fired guns before but I haven't done it enough to develop any proficiency, one of my goals this year is to change that.
(b)I've been in scraps where someone has tried to re-arrange my face and I've had someone come at me with a bat.
(c)Hmmmm, I've killed animals but no humans. |
